Switching from Wired to Wireless

To disable your wireless connection perform the following actions:
  1. From the Start button, navigate to the Control Panel.
  2. Locate the Network Connections icon and double click to open the Network Connections window.


  4. You will see your Wireless Network Connection listed in the Network Connections window. To disable wireless, right click on the Wireless Network Connection and select disable


  6. To enable your Local Area Connection (wired), follow the same steps, but instead select enable after right clicking on the Local Area Connection wireless adapter.
